ABOUT DDA - Delhi Development AuthorityThe Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is a planning authority created in 1957 under the provisions of the Delhi Development Act "to promote and secure the development of Delhi". It is responsible for planning, development and construction of housing projects, commercial lands, land management as well as providing public facilities like roads, bridges, drains, underground water reservoirs, community centers, sports centers, green belts etc. within the area of National Capital Territory of Delhi, India. Mission And VisionThe Delhi Development Authority, under Section 6 of the Delhi Development Act, 1957 has been given the following Mission and vision : In simple words, the Mission and vision of DDA, as ratified by the Act of 1957, lists the objectives of the Authority as: To acquire, hold, manage and dispose of land and other property. To carry out building, engineering, mining and other operations. And, to provide services and amenities incidental to the above. |
